I found a site full of flash games the other day, and I want to tell you all about it.
The direct link is http://flashgamesfun.blogspot.com
It put me in gamers' heaven.
Now, I am not running a commercial; I don't know who the ugotgames people are, and I don't even know how to find out. I just know that they have all the free flash games I could ever want.
That sounds like a commercial, but I'll let it stand. It's just true.
I'll talk about the games now.
Like the link says, it's action games. All the action you could want. In just ten minutes, I was an AA gunner on a WWII ship (I lost that game; the kamikazes got me), a sniper in German-occupied Europe (I won that game; the Germans couldn't stop me), and fired the Kitty Kanon. It was escapist bliss.
The Naval Gun game wasn't bad, but it was tough on a laptop. You aim the AA gun with the mouse, and I have a track pad. Personally, I think that game would be best with a joystick. The WWII sniper game was pretty cool, but it was small; only 4 levels. It looked like a demo version of a larger game. I might have to go check out the site it came from, and see it for myself.
The Kitty Kannon was pretty darn cool, though, in a twisted way. It's what you think it is. A cannon, that fires a kitten. Your score is the distance the kitty travel before coming to a stop. Along the firing range are various objects, some of which can help move the kitty along, and others which stop it instantly. The TNT, balloon bombs, and trampolines all add impetus to the cat; the deathtrap spikes and carnivorous potted plants end the turn. You have no control over the outcome once you set the cannon's angle, and fire. You can choose to fire at low or high power, but that's it. It's an ideal game for a quick laugh.
There are some other games on this site that I want to talk about, but they can wait for another day. They're arcade classics, and I want to take the time to do them justice.
